LOADING THE BATTERIES

Stays on when the inserted
disc is being played back.

Lights up when a
CD is inserted into
the tray.

Lights up when a DVD

A-B repeat function
is on.

Displays how long a current title
or track has been played back. When
a chapter or track has switched, the

1. Open the battery compartment

cover.

2. Insert two AA batteries, with each

one oriented correctly.

3. Close the cover.

Do not mix alkaline and manganese batteries.

SWITCHING TO VCR MODE

Notes

Pressing only OUTPUT on the front panel does not
switch the mode of the remote control. You always
need to select the correct mode on the remote con-
trol too.

Press DVD on the remote control.

(Verify that the DVD OUTPUT Light is lit.)
