RIGHT STERN BRACKET
Do not turn this screw. If this
screw is turned hydraulic oil
will bleed out of the power tilt
system. Should this happen it
will be necessary to contact your
closest authorized Honda
Marine dealer and have the
system refilled.
The outboard motor can be tilted
manually after opening the manual
relief valve. This feature enables the
outboard motor to be tilted when no
battery is connected.
For manual tilting, use a flat
screwdriver to turn the valve
counterclockwise 2 and a half turns.
Close the valve firmly after
positioning the outboard motor.
Be sure the valve is closed before
operating the outboard motor. If the
valve is not closed, the outboard
motor will tilt up when operated in
reverse.
