Unscrew and remove the Guard Retainer Screw (62). (See Figure D.)

Remove the Swing Guard (61). Then, set the Swing Guard aside, making sure
not to allow it to be bent or damaged; that can interfere with proper guard opera-
tion. (See Figures D and E.)
