NOTE: You may need to slightly rotate pole from side to
side until it locks into place.
 Lower the threaded collar onto the threaded base and
rotate clockwise to secure.
WARNiNg:
Failure to lock telescoping pole as directed above could
result in serious injury or death.

Before using the pole hedge trimmer, a one-time assembly
is required.

The telescoping pole and trimmer head come unassembled.
Remove from packaging and extend telescoping pole to
its longest operating position as shown in Figure 6 in the
Operation section of this manual.
 Unscrew the threaded collar from trimmer head base and
pull back over the cord to the extended telescoping pole
as shown.
 Insert the telescoping pole into the trimmer head threaded
base until the lock holes click into place. The tubes are
egg-shaped and will only install one way. The threaded
base will spread open during assembly.
