ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK

OIL FILLER CAP
DIPSTICK
Check the engine oil level with the generator on a level surface and the
engine stopped.
The Oil Alert system will automatically stop the engine before the oil
level falls below safe limits. However, to avoid the inconvenience of an
unexpected shutdown, check the oil level regularly.
Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and wipe it clean.
Insert and remove the dipstick without screwing it into the filler neck.
Check the oil level shown on the dipstick.
Screw in the oil filler cap/dipstick securely.
If the oil level is low, fill with the recommended oil to the top of the
oil filler neck (outer edge of the oil filler hole) (see page
1.
