Something Not Working

If the appliance is not working correctly, please carry out the following checks, before contacting your local Service
Force Centre.
IMPORTANT: If you call out an engineer to a fault listed below, or to repair a fault caused by incorrect use or
installation, a charge will be made even if the appliance is under guarantee.

SYMPTOM

The gas oven does not light nor the electric grill

The gas oven does not light.

Food is cooking too quickly or too slowly

The oven is not cooking evenly

The oven light does not work

Steam and condensation settle on the food and

the oven cavity.

SOLUTION

Check that the oven is switched on at the wall
Check that the power supply has not been interrupted

before the cooling fan has had time to cool the oven down

Check that there is not a problem with your gas supply

Check that you are using the recommended tempe-

rature settings and shelf positions.

Check that the oven is installed properly.
Check that you are using the recommended tempe-

rature settings and shelf positions.

Check the light bulb, and replace it if necessary (see

"Replacing the Oven Light")

Refer to the contents of this booklet, especially to

the chapter “Using the Gas Oven”.

Leave dishes inside the oven no longer than 15-20

minutes after the cooking is completed.

If after all these checks, your hob still does not operate
correctly, contact your local Electrolux Service Force
Centre.
Please note that it will be necessary to provide proof of
purchase for any in-guarantee service calls.

Replacing the Oven Light

Disconnect the appliance.

If the oven bulb needs replacing, it must comply with the
following specifications:
- Wattage power: 15W,
- Voltage: 230V (50 Hz),
- Resistant to temperatures of 300°C,
- Connection type: E14.

These bulbs are available from your local Service
Force Centre.

To replace the faulty bulb:
1. Ensure the oven is disconnected from the

electrical supply.

2. Turn the glass cover anticlockwise.
3. Remove the faulty bulb and replace with the

new one.

4. Refit the glass cover.
5. Reconnect to the electrical supply.

In-guarantee customers should ensure that the
above checks have been made as the engineer will
make a charge if the fault is not a mechanical or
electrical breakdown.
