This chapter provides information meant to guide you to other resources that will
introduce the major components and functions of your NewTek system. This includes
extensive online training resources, friendly and helpful online communities,
web-based external control, and more. More detailed reference material on all
aspects follow in Part II (Reference).
Having made the essential external connections in the previous section, you’ll want to start your first
practical live production session, and skim through some important fundamentals. This would be a good
time for us to introduce you to a special feature of your system: Your TriCaster has its very own local
webpage. TriCaster Exclusive features also includes a browser-based control system, referred to as
LivePanel™.
