This indicates that there is no disc in the player, or that the player cannot read
the disc.

3. Press the CD door OPEN button.

4. Place a CD on the center spindle with the printed label side facing up and close

the CD door.

5. The player will read the Table of Contents on the disc and the display will show

the total number of tracks on the disc.

6. Press the CD PLAY/PAUSE

button. Playback will begin on Track 1. The

display shows the number of the track being played and the Play/Pause LED
Indicator “Dot” comes on.

7. Adjust the VOLUME control, as desired.

8. After the last track has been played, the disc stops and the display again shows

the total number of tracks on the disc. The LED Play/Pause Indicator “Dot” goes
off.

To stop playback before the disc ends, press the STOP button. The disc stops
immediately and the display shows the total number of tracks on the disc.

CD PAUSE CONTROL

To stop CD playback temporarily, press the PLAY/PAUSE

button again during

playback. The sound stops and the Play/Pause Indicator “Dot”, which follows the
track number, flashes to indicate you are in Pause mode. However, the disc
continues to spin. Press the PLAY/PAUSE

button once more to cancel Pause

and resume playback. The sound returns and the Play/Pause Indicator stops
flashing.
