IMPORTANT: Keep dirt, water, and other contaminants
from entering the hydraulic system; clean
the area to prevent contamination of the
hydraulic fluid and use a clean funnel with
a fine screen mesh.
1. Set the vehicle parking brake.
2. Using the control station, put the platform in the down
and open position (Figure 21).
3. Remove the filler cap and add recommended hydraulic
fluid to pump reservoir. Check that the hydraulic fluid is
at the proper fill level, half full (Figure 22).
IMPORTANT: Always use the correct grade of hydraulic
fluid. Refer to the chart below for
recommended hydraulic fluid or contact
your SAF-HOLLAND representative.
