The ProtEX-MAX includes a removable screw terminal connector for external switch
contacts. External switch contacts may be wired across the switch contact and COM
on the connector labeled Trident X2 External Switch Connections in the Figure
below.

NOTICE
Removing the connectors or changing the default wiring of the
ProtEX-MAX external switch connectors will affect the function of
the SafeTouch buttons.
