General Safety Instructions
Children or other persons who do not have the know-
ledge or experience required to use the electrical ap-
pliance, or who have limited physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, must not use the appliance without super-
vision or instruction by a person who is responsible
for their safety. Children must be supervised at all
times to prevent them playing with the appliance.
Do not expose the product to
– extreme temperatures,
– strong vibrations,
– heavy mechanical loads,
– direct sunlight,
– magnetic fields,
– moisture.
These can damage the product.
Do not immerse the product in water under any circum-
stances. Never hold the product under running water.
Otherwise the product may be damaged.
The device contains sensitive electronic components.
It is therefore possible that nearby radio transmission
devices may cause interference. If false readings occur,
remove such equipment from the vicinity of the device.
Do not use the device in hospitals or other medical
institutions. The device may affect the function of life
support systems.
Electromagnetic interference / high-frequency emissions
can lead to the appliance failing. In cases of the appli-
ance failing to work remove the battery for a short
while and then replace it. Do this as described in the
“Inserting / changing the batteries“ section.
Check the product for damage before use. Never use
a damaged product.
CAUTION! Never open the housing of the product.
This can result in injury and damage to the product.
Repairs must be carried out by an electrician only.
