3. Wipe the motor unit 4 and the power
cable 1 with a slightly moistened cloth,
if necessary.
4. The blender 5 may be washed by
hand.
5. Allow the parts to dry completely before
putting them away.
Some cleaning tips
• Preferably clean the blender 5 immedi-
ately after use, to prevent food residues
from drying on and sticking to the hand
blender.
• After processing very salty foodstuffs,
the blender 5 should be rinsed immedi-
ately.
8. Storage
DANGER for children! Keep the
device out of the reach of children.
DANGER! In order to avoid accidents, the
mains plug 1 must never be connected to a
wall socket while in storage.
• Select a location where neither high
temperatures nor moisture can affect the
device.
9. Trouble-shooting
If your device fails to function as required,
please try this checklist first. Perhaps there is
only a minor problem, and you can solve it
yourself.
