Vertical steam blast
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► NEVER direct the steam blast at people or animals!
The vertical steam blast is particularly suitable for smoothing hanging textiles,
such as curtains.
NOTICE
► If you want to smooth sensitive materials, hold the steam iron at a distance
of 10 - 20 cm away, so as to avoid damaging the material.
1) Hold the steam iron upright with the soleplate 9 directed at the textile.
2) Press the steam blast button 3 for a blast of steam.
Temporarily setting the steam iron aside
WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!
► Never leave a steam iron that is hot, switched on or connected to the mains
power supply unattended.
1) Place the temperature regulator 7 into the position "MIN".
2) Stand the steam iron only on the appliance base 6.
Taking the steam iron out of service
1) Disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.
2) Empty the water tank and clean the sole of the iron 9.
3) Stand the steam iron only on the appliance base 6.
