To remove, turn the motor part 5 in the
opposite direction so that the attach-
ment marking

locking marking
6 and pull the
motor part 5 off the blender 8.

Operation
DANGER! Never reach inside
when the blades are rotating. Do
not hold spoons or similar items in
rotating parts. If your hair is long,
make sure it does not get caught.
The same applies to loose cloth-
ing.
WARNING!
•
After a maximum operating time of …
… 1 minute without interruption with
firm mixtures and
… 2 minutes without interruption with
liquid mixtures
the prescribed switch-off time is 30 min-
utes.
•
To prevent damaging the appliance,
always stop mixing when the blade is
no longer turning or has slowed down.
In this case, unplug (the mains plug 2)
and check whether something is block-
ing the container or the food is too
tough. Also check whether the appli-
ance has been properly assembled.
Uses
The hand blender is suitable for puréeing
fruit and vegetables, soups, dips and sauc-
es, as well as for mixing drinks and making
milkshakes.
Selecting mixing speed
Adjust the speed to your mixture. For ex-
ample, for a soft mixture, choose a low
speed and a higher speed for a harder
mixture.

Set a speed on a
sliding scale using
the speed regula-
tor 1. Then press the
switch “I“ 3.

Press the switch “II“ 4 to mix at maxi-
mum speed.
This is how it’s done
DANGER! only switch the appli-
ance on when the blender 8 is im-
mersed in the food.
•
The blade continues to run after the
appliance is switched off. Wait until the
appliance comes to a standstill before
removing the hand blender from the
mixture.
1. Where possible, put the food to be
puréed or mixed in a tall, narrow con-
tainer with a flat base. However, you
can also purée foods directly in the pan.
