can reduce the required temperature to a
minimum of 6 °C.
The selected required temperature is shown
in the display 10.
The room temperature is measured by the
temperature sensor 7.
The heater switches off as soon as the room
reaches the required temperature. The fan
continues to run. If the room temperature
falls below the required temperature, the
heater switches on again automatically.
5.6 Setting the operating time
The appliance has a timer with which you
can set the required operating time. The
appliance switches off automatically once
the operating time has expired.
1. Press the “H” button 16 or 25 to set the
hours.
2. Press the “M” button 15 or 24 to set the
minutes.
Note:
If you press and hold the buttons, the
values will continue to run until you release
the button again.
The selected operating time is shown in the
display 10.
5.7 Swivel function
The appliance has a swivel function.
This causes the appliance to swivel to and
fro, distributing the exiting air more evenly
through the room:
1. To switch the swivel function on, press
the swivel function button 17 or 21.
2. To switch the swivel function off, press
the swivel function button 17 or 21
again.
5.8 Thermal cut-out
For your safety the appliance has a thermal
cut-out.
If the temperature inside the appliance beco-
mes too high, the appliance switches off auto-
matically:
1. Switch the mains switch 8 to 0 to switch
off the appliance.
2. Check whether the air inlet or outlet is
obstructed and remove the cause.
If you cannot establish a cause and the
fault occurs repeatedly, have the
appliance repaired or else take it out of
use.
3. Wait for the appliance to cool down.
4. You can then continue to operate it nor-
mally.
5.9 Safety switch
The appliance is protected against acciden-
tal damage by a safety switch.
The safety switch is
located on the bot-
tom of the appliance
and switches the
appliance off imme-
diately should it fall
over:
1. Return the appliance to an upright posi-
tion.
2. Select the required function again (see
“5.1 Displays” on page 39).
