Do not operate the lamp in
potentially explosive environ-
ments in which there are in-
flammable vapours, gases
or dusts.
J
Do not expose the lamp to
direct sunlight, rain, snow or
ice. Failure to observe this
advice may result in damage
to the product.
J
Do not attach the light to
damp or conductive sub-
strates.
LED cannot be replaced.
To avoid danger
to life from
electric shock
J
Never use your lamp if you
discover that it is damaged
in any way.
J
In the event of damage, re-
pairs or other problems with
the lamp, please contact the
Service Centre or an electri-
cian.
J
Before installation, switch
off the electrical circuit at the
circuit breaker box or remove
the fuse from the fuse box.
J
Never let the lamp come
into contact with water or
other liquids.
J
Never open or insert any-
thing into electrical fittings
or equipment. Doing this
sort of thing can lead to a
serious danger to life from
electric shock.
J
Before assembly, ensure that
the mains voltage available
corresponds to the operating
voltage necessary of the light
(Z31065A-BS: 100–
240 V~; Z31065B-BS: 230–
240 V~).

Safety advice
The right to claim under the guar-
antee shall be rendered invalid
in respect of damage caused by
the non-observance of these op-
erating instructions! No liability is
accepted for consequent damage!
No liability is accepted for dam-
age to property or persons caused
by improper handling or non-ob-
servance of the safety advice!
J
Do not allow the lamp or
the packaging materials to
lie around unattended. Plas-
tic film or bags, Styrofoam
etc. can turn into dangerous
toys for children.
J
CAUTION!
DANGER OF
EXPLOSION!
electrical safety, the light
must never be cleaned with
water or other fluids or be
immersed in water. When
cleaning, only use a dry,
lint-free cloth.
Q
Disposal
The packaging and
ancillary packing
consist entirely of en-
vironmentally-friendly materials.
They can be disposed of at your
local recycling facility.
The symbol of the
wheelie bin with the
line through it means
that, in the European Union, the
product has to be disposed of in
a separate refuse collection. This
applies to the product and to all
components bearing this symbol.
Products marked in this way may
not be disposed of along with
normal domestic waste but have
to be handed in at a recycling
collection point for electrical and
electronic appliances. Recycling
helps to reduce the consumption
of raw materials and to ease the
burden on the environment.

Note: Ensure that no more
than 3 under-unit lights of
the same type (Z31065B-BS)
are connected together in
series. Install each addi-
tional light at a distance of
approx. 15 cm as described.

for the power
supply.
j
CAUTION! First ensure
that all the under-unit lights
are connected by an exten-
sion lead
8
before you in-
sert the mains lead into the
mains socket.
Q
Maintenance and
Cleaning
Allow the lamp to cool down
completely.
DANGER
TO LIFE FROM ELECTRIC
SHOCK! Before carrying
out any tasks on the lamp,
switch off the electrical cir-
cuit at the circuit breaker
box or remove the fuse from
the fuse box.

Z31065B-BS on a
wall
j
Measure up the wall or
mounting surface for drilling
the holes. Use a spirit level
to improve accuracy.
j
Mark the two mounting
holes a distance of approx.
432 mm apart.
j
Now drill the mounting
holes (ø approx. 6 mm,
depth approx. 30 mm).
CAUTION! Make sure that
you do not damage any
electrical cables during this
operation.
j
Insert the supplied dowels
10
into the drilled holes. Insert
the supplied screws
11
into
the dowels and tighten them.
Let them project a distance
of about 1.3 mm from the
wall or mounting surface.
j
Attach the light to the
screws
11
using the appro-
priate wall mounting holes

.
j
Plug the connection cable
with mains plug

into the
Note: Only use the lamp
with the mains adapter it
was delivered with (LPS03-

to use of a different adapter
is not covered by the guaran-
tee.
Q
Installing light
Z31065B-BS
j
Use the mounting rails
9
(see also Fig. B) and the
screws
12
for under cabinet
installation.
j
Measure the space for instal-
lation of the light. Use a spirit
level to position it correctly.
Mark where you wish to
drill and pre-drill the holes.
j
Mark the distance of 533 mm
for the two fixing holes. Drill
the holes: ø approx. 2 mm,
approx. 10 mm deep.
Note: The supplied screws
are for standard installation
under wall cabinets and are
not suitable for every type
of wall. If installing on con-
crete walls, for example,
you will need to use special
dowels and screws. Infor-
mation on suitable installa-
tion material can be obtained
from specialist stores.
j
First screw only one of the
mounting rails
9
in the
pre-drilled positions with the
supplied screws
12
.
j
Place the under cabinet light
flat on the mounting surface
and push it onto the mount-
ing rail
9
up to the stop in
the slot
6
(see Fig. C).
j
Push the second mounting
rail
9
into the slot
6
on
the under cabinet light so
that the drilled hole is visible.
Working safely
J
Install the lamp so that it is
protected from moisture,
wind and dirt.
J
Make careful preparations
for the assembly and take
sufficient time. Clearly lay
out all components and any
additional tools or materials
that might be required so
that they are readily to hand.
J
Remain alert at all times and
always watch what you are
doing. Always proceed with
caution and do not assem-
ble the lamp if you cannot
concentrate or feel unwell.

comply with this instruction
will invalidate any warranty
claims.
To avoid danger
of fire and injury
J
RISK OF INJURY! Check
every bulb and lampshade
for damage immediately
upon unpacking. Do not fit
the light if the bulbs and / or
lampshades are faulty. If
they are, contact the service
point for a replacement.
DANGER
OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
DANGER OF DAMAGE
TO PROPERTY! DANGER
OF INJURY! Ensure that
you do not strike electrical
cables, gas or water pipes
when you are drilling into
the wall. If necessary, check
the wall using a suitable
detector before you drill.
J
RISK OF IN-
JURY FROM
BURNS! Ensure
the lamp has been switched
off and allowed to cool before
you touch it. In this way you
will avoid the danger of burns.
Bulbs give off a lot of heat
around the top of the lamp.
J
Do not use this light for dim-
mers or electronic switches.
It is not suitable for these
purposes.
