Note: Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are
replacing a bulb

j Screw the bulb 14 into the socket. Check that it
is correctly seated.
j With the open reflector side facing upwards,
carefully push the reflector
1 over the illumi-
nant 14 and onto the lamp head 2 .
j Make sure that the notch 4 of the reflector is
positioned over the clamping element 5 . The
reflector 1 has to click into place (see Fig. A).
j Turn the reflector 1 so that the open reflector
side points downwards or in the desired direc-
tion.

Operation
Note: The articulated arm 7a , 7b and the lamp
head 2 can be adjusted as shown in Fig. B.
Note: Adjust the articulated arm 7a , 7b and the
lamp head 2 as shown in Fig. B. The maximum
adjustment angles are signalled by resistances. Do
not move the articulated arm

j Always ensure that there is at least 30 cm clear
distance between the lamp and other items of
furniture or furnishings.
j Insert the mains plug 9 into the socket.
j Move the articulated arms 7a , 7b until the
light is directed at the desired location. Fix that
position with the locking screws

j Press the On / Off switch 3 to turn the desk
lamp on or off.

Replacing a bulb
CAuTION! DANGER TO LIFE
FROM ELECTRIC SHOCk! Pull the
mains plug
9 out of the socket.
J Allow the bulb 14 to cool down completely.
j Turn the reflector 1 with the open reflector
side upwards so that the groove 4 is over the
clamp 5 .
j Press the clamp 5 slightly downwards and
then pull the reflector 1 carefully off the lamp
head 2 .
j Screw the faulty bulb 14 out of the socket.
j Use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are
replacing a bulb.
j Now screw the new bulb carefully into the
socket. Check that it is correctly seated.
j Push the reflector 1 on to the lamp head 2
again, as described in the section on “Assembling
the reflector”.

fluids or immerse it in water.
J Do not use solvents such as petrol and the like
as they could damage the product.
j Use a dry, fluff-free cloth for cleaning.

The packaging is made entirely of recy-
clable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.
Under no circumstances should the
device / article and its bulbs be disposed
of with normal household rubbish.
