Normal and safe operation
All of the instructions must be observed to ensure safe operation and to qualify for the manufacturer's warranty,
where applicable. Use the lamp only with the specified mains voltage. The lamp is not a toy. Keep away from
children or people with limited capability.
Change the bulb
Switch off (or remove) the house fuse before changing the light bulb. The lamp head / bulb will become hot during use. Let it cool
down before changing the bulb. Only use the light bulb listed in these instructions and only up to the stated maximum capacity.
1. Turn the lateral cover anti-clockwise and remove the rubber washer (see illus. p.2,Ba).
2. Take down the light cover and remove both protective covers on the strip light (see illus. p.2,Bb-c).
3. Remove the cooled bulb by turning it clockwise and pulling it out (see illus. p.2,Bd-e).
4. Replace it with a new bulb (see illus. p.2,Bf-g).
5. Push and insert the protective covers for the strip light on both sides (see illus. p.2,Bh).
6. Put the light cover back on (see illus. p.2,Bi).
7. Tighten the lateral cover in a clockwise direction, including the rubber washer, as far as it will go (see illus. p.2,Bj).
Cleaning
Switch off (or remove) the mains fuse before cleaning the lamp. The bulb becomes hot during operation. Let it cool down first. Only
clean the surface of the lamp. Use only a dry, dust-free cloth to clean. Warning! Do not bring the lamp into contact with water or
other liquids. Do not immerse in water. This can cause it to a short circuit. A short circuit can lead to injury through electric shock or
to substantial material damage or fire. The bulb cover (e.g. glass) can be taken off for cleaning.
Disposal
Please dispose of the article in the appropriate manner following the current legal regulations.
