How to use
Note: The light has a motion sensor that reacts to
temperature changes. The sensor works best at an
ambient temperature below 20 °C. A moving object
at a temperature close to the ambient temperature
is only detected with great difficulty.
Note: The controls are at the front of the lamp,
above the motion sensor
8
(Fig. A).
The range of the motion sensor
8
is approx. 6 - 8
(+ / - 2 m) if the lamp is installed at a height of
1.80 to 2.50 m (Fig. H). It has a roughly 100°
detection radius (Fig. I).
Regulating the
motion sensitivity
Open the hinged lid

in order to be able to
operate the control to regulate the motion
sensitivity

.
Turn the control to regulate the motion sensitivity
6
clockwise to increase the range of the motion
sensor
8
.
Turn the control to regulate the motion sensi-
tivity
6
anti-clockwise to decrease the range
of the motion sensor

.
Regulating the sensitivity
of the light
Open the hinged lid
9
in order to be able to
operate the control for light sensitivity
7
.
Turn the control to regulate the light sensitivity
7
clockwise to increase the sensitivity of the light.
Turn the control to regulate the light sensitivity
7
anti-clockwise to decrease the sensitivity of the
light.
Note: When the lamp is switched on, the light
sensitivity sensor is switched off so that even despite
the brightness from the light movements can still be
detected.
Regulating the duration
of the illumination
The amount of time the light stays on can be set to a
value between approx. 5 and 240 - 300 seconds.
Open the hinged lid
9
in order to be able to
operate the control to regulate duration of light
5
.
Turn the control to regulate the duration of the
illumination
5
clockwise to increase the dura-
tion of the illumination.
Turn the control to regulate the duration of the
illumination
5
anti-clockwise to decrease the
duration of the illumination.
Note: After the motion detector has switched the
light on, the light will stay on for the set period of time.
If during this period a new movement is detected,
the time the light stays on for will be extended by
the set period of time.
Replacing the illuminant
Make sure that the lamp is dead, i.e. not live.
To do so, remove the fuse or move the switch
of the fuse in your sub-distribution to “0”.
The lamp can get very hot when in use. If nec-
essary, allow the lamp to cool down for about
15 minutes.
Remove the lamp shade
1
and the sealing
ring
3
by screwing the lamp shade
1
out of
the lamp housing
4
.
Remove the illuminant
2
from the base.
Insert a new illuminant with a suitable base
and of an appropriate wattage (see section on
“Technical data”).
Screw the lamp shade
1
back onto the lamp
body
4
.
Switch the electrical power back on.
