Use, safety guidelines, replacing the battery
Using the operating instructions
Read all the instructions in this manual carefully before assembling, mounting or switching on the light and follow them without exception.
Observing all of the guidelines guarantees safe operation and manufacturer's warranty where applicable.
Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
Remember to pass these instructions on to new owners of the lights.

Important safety information
Intended use
The LED solar lamp is suitable for constant use outdoors. It is designed for use in private households and is not suitable for commercial purposes.
Do not use the LED solar lamp if there is visible damage. The lamp is protected against spray water, but must not be submerged in water. The solar
module should not be glued down, covered or painted.
Do not operate the LED solar lamp with normal batteries that are non-rechargeable. Do not take the batteries apart, throw in fires or short wire.
Danger to children and people with limited capability of using the devices
Children and people with limited capability do not recognise the dangers associated with using electrical devices. Keep away from children and people
with limited capability.
Keep packaging and wrapping away from children and people who are of a limited ability to operate devices. Danger of suffocation!
Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. Keep batteries and the product out of the reach of small children. In the event of a battery being swallowed, seek
medical assistance immediately.
Replacing the battery
1. The battery is designed to operate for long durations. However, it may be necessary to change the battery in the event of a long period of use.
Batteries are subject to natural wear and tear and their performance can decrease.
2. Unscrew the ball counterclockwise.
3. Turn the solar unit switch to OFF.
4. After loosening the two screws on top of the solar unit by counter clockwise rotation, turn the solar unit over.
5. Remove the battery and replace it with a new, fully charged battery of the same type (see "Technical specifications"). Make sure the battery is
inserted according to the right polarity (+/-).
6. Put the solar unit back into place and secure it with the two screws using clockwise rotation.
7. Turn the switch back to ON.
8. Fix the ball into the base by clockwise rotation as far as it goes.
