Be alert at all times! Always pay attention to
what you are doing and act with common sense.
Always proceed with caution and do not as-
semble the lamp if you cannot concentrate or
feel unwell.
Install the lamp on stable surfaces only (e.g.
masonry). Check before fastening the lamp to
the wall whether the wall is suitable for support-
ing the lamp. Ask in specialist shops if necessary.
Examine the wall before installation and choose
suitable installation fixings. We have supplied
fixings suitable for an concrete walls.
Install the lamp so that it is protected from mois-
ture, wind and dirt.
Do not install the lamp near a source of heat.
Do not install the lamp near ventilation open-
ings or other lamps.
Preparation
Required tools and materials
The tools and materials referred to are not included
in delivery. The details and values given are non-
binding and for guidance only. The condition of the
material is determined by the individual local con-
ditions.
– Pencil / Marking tool
– Voltage tester
– Phillips screwdriver
– Slotted head screwdriver
– Open spanner / torque wrench
– Electric drill
– Drill, ø 6 mm
– Edge cutter
– Ladder
– Spirit level
Before installation
Important: The electrical connection must be
carried out by a qualified electrician or someone
trained to perform electrical installations. This per-
son must be familiar with the properties of the light
and all connection regulations.
Before installation, please familiarise yourself
with the instructions and illustrations in this op-
erating manual and with the light itself.
Make sure before installation that there is no
voltage on the line you will be connecting the
light to. To do this, remove the fuse or switch off
the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).
Check that there is no voltage using a voltage
tester.
Preparing for use
Installation
First remove the wall bracket

by loosening
the nuts

with an open end or torque wrench.
Mark the drill holes on the wall with the aid or
pre-drilled holes in the wall bracket

. If nec-
essary, use a spirit level.
Note: Ensure that you install the lamp above
head height.
Now drill the fixing holes (approx. 6 mm,
depth approx. 40 mm). Ensure that you do not
damage the supply line.
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Refer to
your drill’s operating instructions.
Introduce the dowels into the bores.
Mount the wall bracket

with the screws
included in the delivery.
Loosen the four screws on the cable terminal
box

with a Phillips screwdriver and remove
the cover. Ensure that the seal does not get
lost.
Loosen the screw

on the cable bushing

by turning in an anticlockwise direction. Ensure
that the rubber grommet does not get lost.
First insert the screw
