3. Place the other two batteries into the remote control (see

the “Inserting / Changing Batteries” chapter, “Remote
Control” section).

4. Attach the clips to the branches of your Christmas tree

as you wish.

Inserting / Changing Batteries

Candles
1. Unscrew the candles from the clips by turning them an-

ticlockwise.

2. Remove the old batteries if necessary and insert a new

1.5 V battery, AAA type with the positive pole fi rst into
each of the candles (see also the imprint on the candles).

3. Screw the candles back onto the clips by turning them

clockwise.

Remote Control
1. Open the battery compartment lid on the back of the re-

mote control. To do this, press the closure towards the lid
and fl ip up the lid at the same time.

2. Remove the old batteries if necessary and insert two

new 1.5 V batteries, AAA type into the remote control.
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/–).

3. Place the lid onto the battery compartment and press the

lid down until it locks in place.

Operation

• The ON button is used to switch on the candles.

You have two options here:

– If you press the ON button for just a short time, the

candles light up constantly.

– If you keep the ON button pressed for around 3

seconds, the candles light up in fl icker mode.
