Tighten the handle knob (3) securely to fix the adjustable handle (4) in the desired position.

Adjusting shaft length(fig. E)

Loosen the adjustment collar (5)

Pull the shaft out to increase, or push the shaft in to decrease the height/length.

Retighten the collar (5).

9.3

Adjusting cutting head angle (fig. F/G)

To change the angle depress the foot pedal (16) and move the shaft (6) to the desired position

Release the foot pedal (16). (fig G)

9.4

Converting from trimmer to edger (fig. H)

Your trimmer can easily be converted from trimmer to Edger by the touch of one Button:

Depress the angle adjusting knob (17)

Turn the shaft 180" to position the trimmer head for trimming/edging as shown.

Release the angle adjusting knob.

10 OPERATION

10.1

Cutting and Edging

Remove stones, loose pieces of wood and other objects from the cutting area.

The blade continues to rotate for a few seconds after the trimmer is
switched off.

Allow the motor/blade to stop rotating before switching "on" again.

Do not rapidly switch off and on.

10.2

Switching On and Off

Press safety switch (18) to the left or right.

Press switch (1) and hold depressed.

Release switch (1) for switching off.

10.3

Cutting Grass (Fig I)

Move the trimmer left and right, keeping it well away from your body. The trimmer can
efficiently cut grass up to a height of 15 cm. Cut taller grass in stages.

10.4

Trimming Edges (Fig. J)


Guide the trimmer along the edge of the
lawn. Do not allow the cutting blade to
contact paved surfaces, stones or garden
walls, since this will wear the blade rapidly.
The lawn trimmer is in its trimming edge
function when the handle is rotated over
180°.

10.5

Plant protector (10) (Fig K, L)

Always use the plant protector bar. (It also protects the cutting blade from unwanted heavy
impacts.)
Cutting around trees and bushes (Fig L)

Carefully cut around trees and bushes so that they do not come into contact with the

cutting blade.

Plants can die if you damage the bark.
