 Disassemble the parts of the holder (15 & 16) so that the cutter (17) conies loose.
 The cutter has two cutting edges. When both cutting edges are worn, the cutter must be

replaced.

 Turn the cutter so that the new cutting edge is facing upwards or take a new cutter
 Place the cutter between the pals of the holder.
 Keep the screening pressed and place the holder with the cutter in the cylinder
 Re-adjust the cutter,
 Fix the cutter by fastening the bolls, opposed to the direction as shown.
To replace the other cutter, rotate the cylinder 180" and repeal the steps described above.

Always unplug the tool before replacing the cutters

7.2

Adjusting a cutter (fig. D)

Set the planing depth to 0.
 Turn the screws (11) In or out to determine the correct adjustment. The cutter (17)

properly adjusted when the cutting edge (18) touches the surface of the work piece.

7.3

Setting the planing depth (fig. A}

 Turn the adjustment knob (3) until the desired planing depth is reached.
 The depth setting can be read from the scale (4),

7.4

Mounting and setting the parallel fence (fig. A&E}

The parallel fence (6) is used tor planing along edges.
 Hold the parallel Fence (6) right across its width against the side of the machine. The

groove (19) should engage in the bracket (20).

 Insert the mounting screw (21) and turn it into the bracket,
 Securely tighten the mounting screw.
 To set the parallel fence, proceed as follows:
 Loosen the set screw (7).
 Set the parallel fence to the required distance.
 Tighten the set screw.

8 OPERATION

8.1

Switching on and off (fig. A)

 To switch the tool on, keep the lock-off button (2) depressed and press the on/off switch

(1).

 To switch the tool off, release the on/off switch (1).

8.2

Dust extraction (fig. F

The dust extraction outlet together with the dust bag takes care of the dust extraction of the
working surface.
 Slide the dust bag {22} onto the connection (9).
 Regularly empty the dust hag to ensure optimum dust extraction.
