 Take special care when sanding lead based paint:

All persons entering the work area must wear a mask specially designed for protection

against lead paint dust and fumes.

Children and pregnant women must not enter the work area.

Do not eat, drink or smoke in the work area.

 Do not leave the tool running. Operate the tool only when hand-held.
 Ventilate your work area adequately when you perform sanding operations.
 Be sure that there are no cracks or breakage on the pad before use. Cracks or breakage

may cause a personal injury.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Do not sand plaster surfaces, (WARNING: In this case your guarantee
becomes void) this may clog the motor (brushes, ball bearings

,…).

7.1

Switching On-off

 To start the machine, press the On/Off switch

forward.

 To switch the machine off, press the On/Off switch

to the rear.

7.2

Variable speed control

The tool speed can be infinitely adjusted between 6000
rpm and 10000 rpm. Higher speed is obtained when the
dial is turned in the direction of 6; lower speed is
obtained when it is turned in the direction of 1.

7.3

Attaching the sandpaper

 Before any work on the machine itself, pull the main

plug.

 To attach sanding paper, first remove all dirt or

foreign matter from the sanding base plate. Then
attach the sanding paper to the sanding base plate,
using the hook-and-loop system of the sanding
paper and the sanding base plate.

 Make sure the perforations in the paper coincide

with those on the sanding base plate, to ensure
optimal dust collection.

 The sandpaper should rest flush on the base plate

and must not come loose.

 Select sandpaper with the correct grain size.
 You can be sure to find the right sandpaper among

our product range (see accessories).

7.4

Collecting the dust

For a better dust extraction of the working surface, your sanding machine can be connected to
the ordinary vacuum cleaner for house-use. Ask your vacuum cleaner distributor for the
correct dust bag connector.
