Hints for mulch-mowing:
 Regular cut-back by max .2 cm (for example from 6 cm to 4 cm grass height).
 Make sure the mowing blade is sharp.
 Do not mow wet grass.
 Set max. motor speed.
 Move forward at low speed (allow mower to chopp grass in mower housing)
 Regularly clean mulching wedge, housing inner side and mowing blade.
6.2.1 Mounting mulching wedge (Fig. 6)
Make sure the motor stopped and blade has come to a complete standstill!!
 Lift the discharge flap and remove the grass collect box.
 Push the mulching wedge into the discharge channel. Lock the mulching wedge with
housing (the nose on the bottom side of the mulching wedge grip must snap into the
opening in the housing.
 Lower the discharge flap again.
 Make sure that side ward flap is closed.
6.3 “3” convert to side-discharge mower (Fig. 7)
Make sure the motor stopped and blade has come to a complete standstill!!
 Lift the discharge flap and remove the grass collect box.
 Mount the mulching wedge (as described under To convert to mulching mower).
 Loosen the screw on the side wand flap and turn the flap to the side.
6.4 Return to normal mower
To Remove the mulching wedge:
Make sure the motor stopped and blade has come to a complete standstill!!
 Lift the rear discharge flap and remove the mulching wedge by unlocking it from the
housing and removing it.
To remove the side discharge channel:
Make sure the motor stopped and blade has come to a complete standstill!!
 Place the side flap back on the machine and fasten the screw.
7 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
7.1 Before starting
This lawn mower is shipped WITHOUT OIL OR GASOLINE in the engine
7.2 Fill oil (9)
Before use fill with 600 ml SAE30 engine oil. (procedure : see maintenance).
