Step 1 Connect the USB Cable to the computer
Connect the USB cable to the USB port on your computer
Step 2 Connect the Ethernet Cable
Using an RJ-45 cable (not included), connect the Ethernet port of the adapter
to an Ethernet modem, bridge, router, switch or hub.

Before installing the SpeedStream ® USB 10/100 Ethernet Adapter, ensure that your PC is
equipped with the following. Note that the adapter is not installable on Macintosh computers.
• Microsoft ® Windows ® 98 Retail, Windows ® 98 SE (Second Edition), Windows ® 2000, or
Windows ® Me (Millennium Edition)
• 32 MB RAM
• Available USB Port
