If a Compact Disc Player is subject to sudden vibration while
playing it may skip or mistrack. It is therefore preferable to
use the player on a flat level surface.

Playing a compact disc
Press the POWER button to switch on the set. Press the
CD button once and “CD” indicator will light up. Open the CD
tray.
Insert the Compact Disc and close the CD tray. The LCD
display will indicate the number of tracks on the disc and
the playing time. If the disc is inserted incorrectly, the
disc will not play.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once to start the disc playing.
Adjust the volume control as required. To stop play, press
the STOP button.
PREPARATION FOR USE

Putting the batteries into the Remote
Control Unit
Press down of the compartment cover, and slide the cover
off open the compartment.
Place the two accessory (UM3), (AA), (R6) batteries in
the remote control according to the polarity markings (“+”
and “--”) inside the compartment and on the batteries.
Place the cover over the compartment, press down lightly,
and push it upward until it snaps on.

Pause
If it is desired to pause during play, press the PLAY/PAUSE
button once. The TRACK/TIME indicator & CD PKACKBACK
indicator will flash on the display. Press PLAY/PAUSE to
resume playback.

Skip
The skip function can be used during play, or when stopped
(not paused) in order to skip to the start or end of a track on the
disc.
To skip forwards press the SKIP (>>l) button repeatedly until
the desired track is reached.
To skip backwards press the SKIP (I<<) button repeatedly
until the desired track is reached.

Programming memory play
By programming the CD player, you can play up to 20 tracks
in any desired order.
1. Place the disc to be programmed in the tray. Press
MEMORY/C-ADJ button once.
2. The “TRACK” ,”MEMORY” and P-01 indicator will show on
the display.
3. Use CD SKIP UP or SKIP DOWN button to select the first
track to the programmed.
4. When the desired tracks appears on the display, press
MEMORY/C-ADJ button again.
5. The “TRACK” ,”MEMORY” and P-02 indicator will show on
the display.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to memories up to 20 tracks.
7. In the radio mode, when frequency is displayed, this key
is use for setting of memory writing enable state for 5
second.
8. Press the PLAY button, play starts with the first track of
the program. When all tracks have been played, the
display shows the number of tracks and the playing time
of the CD songs.
9. To cancel your memories program press STOP button
once, open the CD tray and close it again the memory will
be erased.

Ensure the CD is stopped before open the CD tray or
press Stop first then open the CD tray. *

Repeat Play
1. During play, press repeat button “REPEAT” indicator
light up & not flash on the display. The inserted wil play
sequentially & repeatedly until the CD STOP button is
pressed.
2. Press REPEAT button again, “REPEAT” indicator lights
up & flash on the display. A current sound track can
be selected to play repeatedly until CD STOP button is
pressed.
3. Press REPEAT button again, until the “REPEAT” indica-
tor light goes out to stop repeat function.
AMPLIFER
1. Press POWER/ST.-BY button to switch on the unit.
2. Required the sound source (CD, RADIO or TAPE)
can be selected by pressing the individual button.
The corresponding display indicator will light up.
3. Adjust the volume with the VOLUME UP/DOWN
button.
4 Set the tone with built in preset equalizer (NORMAL,
CLASSIC, ROCK, POP)
5. Press POWER/ST.-by button to switch off the unit.
