Notes on Safety

This Section is concerned with the basic safe-
ty rules when working with the patio cleaner.

Symbols in the manual

Warning symbols (the danger can be

explained at the place of the exclama-
tion mark) with information on dam-
age and injury prevention.

Instruction symbols (the instruction can

be explained at the place of the exclama-
tion mark) with information on preventing
damage.

Help symbols with information on im-

proving tool handling.

General notes on safety

• The device must not be used by people

(including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental faculties or who lack
the necessary experience and/or knowl-
edge - other than they are supervised
by a person responsible for safety or are
being instructed to operate the trimmer by
such a person.

• People who are unfamiliar with the operat-

ing instructions are not permitted to use the
equipment. The operation of the equipment
is not authorised for people under the age
of 16.
