14 Supported input/output broadcast format

combinations

IO-ports can be configured as SDI-inputs. The incoming signal can be made available to one

or more Channels, for example for coverage of live events. Inputs behave much like clips on

the K2Edge; they can be queued and started at any time. Inputs be can shared over multiple

Channels, and each Channel can handle several inputs simultaneously.

In Channel Composer, the Live Object is used to manage inputs.

At the moment there is no support for auto sensing the incoming signal’s format. The input

broadcast format does not have to be an exact match of the Channel/output format, but both

frame rate and interlaced/progressive mode must match.

Supported Input/Output broadcast format combinations are:

PAL -> 1080@50i

1080@50i -> PAL
