Step C5
Once all the telephone users have been added, click “cancel” when prompted to add
another extension or click on "View Extensions". This will display the list of current
extensions so that you may confirm that the entries are correct
Setup Telephones
Please follow the steps that are listed here for each Berkshire 5000
telephone that you wish to add to the telephone system.
Step D1
POE - If the telephone is supplied with a Power over Ethernet (POE) module then fit
the module to the base of the telephone. Connect the POE flying lead marked “TO
PHONE ‘LAN’ “ to the port marked “LAN” on the telephone. Leave the other POE
flying lead disconnected at this stage.
Mains - If the telephone is supplied with a mains power adaptor then plug the mains
adaptor into a mains socket. Leave the flying lead disconnected at this stage.
