Chapter 6 Telnet & RS-232 Configuration
Boarder Gateway 5800 also can support to be managed by
Telnet or Console port (RS-232) for basic operations.
Interface：
Network ： TCP/IP Telnet (i.e. telnet 192.168.111.161
10086)
RS232:
- Connect using： COM1
- Baud Rate：9600
- Data bits：8
- Parity：None
- Stop bits：1
- Flow Control： None
- Wire： Null modem line (crossed)
Logon Boarder Gateway 5800 by Telnet
Use Windows build-in Hyper Terminal or other telnet
terminal emulator to login (e.g. telnet 192.168.67.1:10086). User
ID & password will be required for login (default login user id:
admin, password: admin & user id: root, password: root).
