5.4
Lifting and moving the pump
For lifting and moving the hose pump, the pump support
has a lifting eye (A).
The complete hose pump, i.e. pump head, gearbox and
electric motor, must be lifted using the lifting eye plus
additional support using suitably rated straps or
slings (A). For the weights, refer to §
5.5
Placing the pump
Position the pump on a horizontal surface. Use suitable
anchor bolts to attach the pump to the floor surface.
WARNING
If the pump is to be lifted ensure that all
standard lifting practises are adhered to
and carried out by qualified personnel only.
