Message Creation and Editing Cont’d
The Text Screen controls the following
message attributes by message line:
• Justification (Left, Center, Right)
• Font Style and Size
• Color and Brightness of the characters
• Color and Brightness of the Background
(When using internal video)
During the message creation process, you can
always press the
Preview On VM Button to
see how the message will look on a television.
Please note that you must have your VM-3
attached to an Edit Monitor for this to work.
The Message Editor – Text Screen
The Scheduling Screen controls when a
message will play. This screen allows you
to decide:
• The day or days of the week the
message will play.
• The time of day the message will play.
(Also known as day parting)
• The date or date range the message will
play.
The default setting is for the message to
always play.

The Routing Screen controls on what
networked VM-3’s the message will play.
You can daisy chain up to 32 VM-3’s
together and control them all from the
VMConsole. The default setting is to
play a message on all the connected
VM-3’s. To route the message to specific
VM-3’s, press the Uncheck All Button
and then check the VM-3 box numbers
on which you want the message to play.
