Table 1 is a subjective image quality chart for various distance/resolution
combinations for the CatLinc VGA and CatLinc VGA-L.
The resolution of the output device is an important consideration. If the dis-
play has a native resolution of 1024x768 (as most of today’s LCD and DLP
projectors do), all resolutions over 1024x768 will have a loss of detail
regardless of the cabling. In these circumstances, this product can actually
help to improve the resulting image by reducing some of the digital artifacts
of the scaling process.
