Assembling The Handle
Follow all of the instructions in the manual for normal setup. The only difference in set up is
the lid handle needs to be attached. You will find it packed on the outside of the kiln in the
kiln tray. It can be inserted on either side of the lid depending on which hand you anticipate
using to open the lid. Slide it in the end as pictured until the holes line up and tighten it down
with the screws left in the lid frame.
Opening the Lid
To open the lid simply push straight back on the would handle until the chain stops it. If you
need to open the main lid to the kiln remove the short chain on the back of the frame to allow
the smaller lid to move farther away from the kiln.
IMPORTANT NOTES
ALWAYS PLACE ON A MASONRY SURFACE SUCH AS CONCRETE OR CERAMIC
TILE.
CONSULT GLASS MANUFACTURER BEFORE USING ANY GLASS IN THIS KILN.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING BATCH. NUGGETS ARE PREFERRED.
