Supported Serial Rates
The DAH-239 will reclock 270 Mbps, 1.485 Gbps, and 1.4835 Gbps signals. Signals of other rates will
be equalized and distributed to the outputs, and the reclocker will be bypassed.
Documentation Terms
The following terms are used throughout this guide:
• “Frame” refers to the 8310 frame that houses the DAH-239 card.
• “Operator” and “User” both refer to the person who uses the DAH-239.
• “Board” and “Card” all refer to the DAH-239 card itself, including all components
and switches.
• “System” and “Video system” refers to the mix of interconnected production and
terminal equipment in which the DAH-239 operates.
