1. Introduction
1.1 Scope
This document describes the installation and use of the Sensoray Windows 95/98/NT driver for Smart A/D™ boards.
1.2 Description
The Smart A/D™ driver is a set of executable software modules that will interface one or more Sensoray Smart A/D™ boards to
a Windows application program of your design. Application programs may be developed in any popular Windows development
environment, including Visual C++, Visual Basic, Delphi, etc.
Up to sixteen Sensoray Smart A/D™ boards may be concurrently supported by the driver. The driver simultaneously supports
any combination of 8-, 16- and 32-channel Smart A/D™ boards, as well as any combination of Network or Resident
(non-network) Smart A/D™ product families.
1.3 Block Diagram
The Smart A/D™ driver consists of several software components that serve as an interface between the application program and
the operating system. The following diagram illustrates the relationship between the various software components.
