Once the oarpins are in
place, lock them using
the slide rings as
shown.
375FC Motormount
Includes wooden motor
mount, two L-brackets,
four bolts, knurled
knobs and washers.
440FC Motormount
Includes wooden motor
mount, four L-brackets,
eight bolts, knurled
knobs and washers.
Secure the L-Brackets
to the motor mount
block so that the pre-
drilled holes on the
block match up to the
bottom pre-drilled hole
on the bracket. With the
bracket attached to the
mount, align them to the
pre-drilled holes on the
floorboard and secure
the mount to the board.
It is important to make
sure that you thread the
bolts through the bottom
holes at the top of the
bracket in order to pre-
vent cavitation when
using a short shaft gas
motor. Tighten the
knurled nuts and bolts
before securing the
motor.
Casting Bar
(OPTIONAL)
Adds safe and secure
support for stand-up
casting and doubles as
a convenient hand-hold
while stepping aboard.
Includes crossba with
padded cover, two
upright leg bases, and
two 4mm hex keys (one
spare).
If you are using the
casting bar with the
440FC, extend the
crossbar so its aligned
with the underbars at
the bow of your boat.
Do not extend the
crossbar for use with
the 375FC.
Insert the uprights into
the crossbar. The height
of the casting bar can
be adjusted to one of
three positions using
the pre-drilled holes on
the uprights.
Before attaching the
casting bar to your boat,
make sure that the
FoldCat’s pontoons are
partially deflated. Insert
the upright bases over
the underbars in the
bow and tighten the set
screws at the base
using the hex key.
