Installing the Rear Media Sled (Pusher)
When using folded or media thicker than a 1/4 inch, it
may be necessary to install the Rear Media Sled. This
will help push the media out of the Feeder.
1. Position the Sled nearest to the
drilled hole on the Vacuum Arm
that best fits media being used.
2. Attach the Rear Sled to the
Vacuum Arm using the washer
and socket head screw [A]. Do
not tighten the screw.
3. Adjust the Sled as needed by
sliding it along the mounting slot [B].
4. Tighten the socket head screw.
Installing the Rear Media Support Accessory
When using sheet paper (such as letter size or
A4), the Support Accessory keeps the rear edge
of the media raised so it feeds properly over the
Feed Rollers.
1. Slide the Support Accessory up
behind the Rear Media Support
and position as shown in the
photo at right [A]. Notice how
the edges of the Support
Accessory provides raised edges
for the media to rest on.
2. Attach the Filler Plate to the
Media Support Assembly with
the Phillips truss head screw [B].
