Formatting Your MP3 Player
If your MP3 player does not work as it should, format it.
To format your player:
1. Connect your player to your PC.
. Under My Computer, right-click Removable Disk (Windows 000 or
below) or Audio Player (Windows XP), and select FAT 32  Start.
Note: Formatting your MP3 player removes all data on the MP3 player.
Care
• Keep your MP3 player dry and clean. If it gets wet or dirty, wipe it dry or
clean immediately.
• Handle your MP3 player carefully; do not drop it.
• Keep your MP3 player away from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a damp
cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.
• Modifying or tampering the MP3 player’s internal components can
cause malfunction and might invalidate its warranty. If your player is
not performing as it should, take it to your local RadioShack store for
assistance.
