ULN-2 – Ultra High Quality

Featuring the power, portability and shear sound quality of Mobile I/O in
a small, lightweight package, the ULN-2 breaks new ground in terms of
performance. ULN stands for Ultra Low Noise and the Mic Pres in the
ULN-2 live up to the name.

Providing massive gain [up to 72 dB] with an EIN of -129 dBu [wideband
weighted], fantastic detail and an ultrafast slew rate, the ULN Mic pres are
up to the most demanding recording situations you can throw at them.

The ULN-2 also features balanced analog inserts for each input. This lets you
use the ULN-2 as a standalon analog Mic pre/direct box, or even patch in
analog dynamics processing between the Pre and the integrated 24bit/96kHz
A/D converters.

With the included stereo monitor level controls, the ULN-2 is the perfect
solution for stereo monitoring and acquisition. Coupled with your native
OSX software, the ULN-2 provides everything required to work with high
quality audio today!

And of course it has the same FireWire connectivity, amazing A/D/A
converters and powerful onboard DSP as its older sibling – the Mobile I/O
2882.

You can chain up to three interfaces per FireWire bus – use the ULN-2’s
extended gain and dynamic range for critical channels which need higher
gain and live gain riding, the 2882 for channel count and recallability or
the ULN-8 for the most uncompromising sound quality. Your interfaces work as well together as they do on their own, allowing you to build a flexible system to
cover any situation.

The ULN-2 2d Expanded interface is built around our 2d DSP technology. This makes the ULN-2 much more than an interface; it gives you a multiple bus mixer
for near zero latency monitoring and mixing with the ability to run plug-ins on the interface. For example, you can create a headphone mix for a vocalist that puts
eq, compression and reverb in their cans without the penalty of round-trip latency through your DAW. The MIOConsole software controls every aspect of your
routing and DSP, and you can get total recall of all parametrs by using our ConsoleConnect plug-in your native DAW.
