Before first use
Connect the power cord and charge the battery fully (battery already
connected)
Important: Set LINK SET on the back to the MASTER position

Recharge the battery fully at every opportunity. Never completely
discharge a rechargeable lead battery or store it in discharged or
semi-charged condition. During extended periods of disuse and
storage, the battery must be recharged fully at regular intervals.
