1. Prepare the subfloor. Subfloor is a minimum 2” thick
wood support installed between the floor joists
(concrete can may also be used instead).
2. Position and install the subframe so that the top (without
outlet cap) of the rough-in will be flush with the FINISHED
floor.
4. Place the rough-in into position over the mounting bolts.
Use the levelers to make sure the rough-in is completely
level (rough-in must be level to ensure the complete
assembly will be vertical).
5. Secure the rough-in into place using the provided
washers and nuts.

6. Apply teflon tape to the 1/2”NPT threaded hot & cold
supply lines and then thread into base.
7. Ensure the plug is still tightly installed onto the top of the
brass body and turn on the water supply. Check for
leaks and repair if necessary.
8. Turn water supply off.

3. Place the rough-in on the subfloor in desired location and
mark the location of the mounting holes. Note the orientation
of the rough-in relative to where the control handle and
hand-shower hook will be located once the filler is installed.
Mark the holes and install the mounting bolts to the subframe.
