Software Installation
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 (with Service Pack 3 and NDIS Hot Fix),
or later is needed before network drivers are installed.
Note: Please make sure you have installed SNMP service
before you installed Service Pack 3 and NDIS Hot Fix .
Driver Installation
After properly installing the adapter into the server, the next step is to
install the driver software.
1) Start the server with Windows NT 4.0 and insert the software
diskette into drive A.
2) Open the icons, My Computer
→
Control Panel
→
Networks.
3) Select Add Adapter
→
Have Disk. Choose “D-Link
DFE-570TX PCI Fast Ethernet Server Adapter” .
4) After driver files are copied to the server, a configuration
window will appear. From here, you can assign the Connection
Type and Network Address for adapter. It is suggested that you
choose the default values for both of these.

Restart the computer.
