Care and maintenance
The water intake filter
•
Water intake filters are located at the machine inlet valve and at the tap end
of the inlet hose. These filters prevent dirt from entering the machine and
should be cleaned periodically. (every 30 to 40 washes.)
•
Close the tap and disconnect the inlet hose.
•
Clean the filters with a bristle brush .
•
If the filter is very dirty it may have to be pried loose with a pair of pliers.
Hoses
•
Periodically inspect the hoses for cracks or deterioration.
•
Worn hoses should be replaced and are available from the nearest Defy Ser-
vice Centre.
Since the following are not factory faults, they are the owner’s responsibility.
•
Damage to exterior finish.
•
Breakage of glass and other components..
•
Damage through improper installation.
•
Damage caused through improper use of the appliance.
•
Damage caused by moving or transporting the appliance..
