– Plug the battery cord to a socket with alternate current only.
– Use the charger in a room only.
– Always switch off the vacuum cleaner when charging the battery.
– Charge the battery at standard room temperature.
– Leaking of electrolyte from the battery is caused by overloading the vacuum cleaner
or by using the vacuum cleaner at extremely hot temperature. If you are splashed with
electrolyte, wash the affected place with water and soap and rinse it with lemon juice with
vinegar. In the case of eye contamination, rinse the affected eye for a couple of minutes
with clean water and seek medical advice immediately.
– Do not throw the battery into fire. There is a risk of explosion!
– Do not charge the battery if electrolyte is leaking from it.
– Do not expose the battery to temperatures exceeding 50 °C. This will prevent damage of
the battery. The appliance gets hot when charging which is absolutely normal.
– Do not connect the contacts of the battery or of the power cord! If you do not use the
battery, keep it away from metal objects, such as paperclips, coins, keys, nails, screws
or other small metal objects that can cause short circuit of the battery connectors. Short
circuit of the battery connectors can cause burns or fire.
– Never leave the product unattended when in operation!
– Before you start using the vacuum cleaner, please check that all the blocking
mechanisms are in the right position.
–
Never vacuum without a properly inserted filter protector and filters!
–
Never use (switch on) the vacuum cleaner if it is placed in the holder and it is
being charged!
– The vacuum cleaner is not suitable for vacuuming substances that can harm human
health.
– It is not allowed to alter the surface of the appliance in any way (e.g.
sticker, foil etc.)!
– Do not vacuum sharp objects (e.g.
glass, shatter), hot, flammable, explosive objects
(e.g.
ash, hot cigarette butts, gasoline, thinners, aerosol vapours) or greases (e.g.
fats, oils). Vacuuming these objects may lead to damage of the filters or the vacuum
cleaner.
– When vacuuming some kinds of carpets, upholstery fabrics, etc., electrostatic discharge
may occur which is not dangerous for the user.
– Pores of the micro-filter may be clogged when vacuum cleaning very fine dust (e.g.
fine
sand, cement dust, plaster). Thus, air permeability will be reduced and the suction
performance will drop. In this case, micro-filters have to be cleaned even if the container
is not full.
– During normal operation, the accumulator batteries are not taken out. Take out the
batteries only if the appliance is to be disposed (see par.
VII. ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION).
– Do not insert fingers or other things to input and output vents of the appliance. If the
openings/elements for air flow are clogged (e.g. the accessories), turn the appliance off
and remove the clogging.
– If you need to use an extension cord, it has to be uncorrupted and it has to comply with
the valid safety standards.
– Never use the appliance for any other purpose than for the intended purpose described
in these instructions for use!
– Never leave the vacuum cleaner exposed to weather conditions (
rain, frost, direct sun
radiation, etc.).
