2 Connection and installation
In this chapter, we will explain the displays and connections of the dsl
+
1100
WLAN and show you how to set up the device. In addition, we describe the con-
nection of the computers via Ethernet and via WLAN using the included WLAN
USB stick. Networking examples are illustrated at the end of the chapter.
2.1 Display and connections
Power Lit when it is switched on.
Wireless Link/Act Lit when a WLAN connection to a computer or to another net-
work device exists; flashes during data transfers
DSL DSL connection; flashes while setting up a connection; lit
when a connection exists.
Internet Lit when an active Internet connection exists.
