Wire Control from a Building Location
This control option, illustrated in Figure 9, permits operation of the sign from an
indoor control location. The handheld controller is connected to an indoor junction
box (j-box), which routes the signal to the sign through one 2-pair cable, 22 AWG.
Cable is in conduit where required.
To operate the
DataMaster display
using this setup, connect
the 9-pin to 9-pin cable
from the DataMaster
controller to the 9-pin
j-box, and plug the
controller's wall pack
transformer into a 120 V
AC outlet.
