1. Disconnect the AC power to the unit.
2. Remove the top screws on the top of the modem.
3. Lift off top cover.
4. Place the MPP50 board in position as shown in
5. Figure
, with the connector slots lined up with the holes on the rear panel.
6.
It is imperative to perform visual inspection of the alignment of the board to ensure
the pins on the MPP50 are perfectly aligned with the female header. Allow time to
ensure the pins are perfectly aligned.
WARNING
Improper alignment of even one pin on the MPP50 will result in damage to the modem
on power up..
7. Replace the Top Cover. Re-install the top screws.
8. Turn on the AC power to the modem. Modem will re-initialize.
